Conosci il significato del Phrasal Verb BRING SOMETHING BACK?
Questo phrasal verb ha due diverse tipologie di significato in italiano.
Da una parte vuol dire “riportare alla memoria” quindi ricordare come “to make someone think about something from the past”, dall’altra semplicemente “riportare” come “to return from somewhere with something”.
Ti propongo due esempi:
“That song brought some happy times back to me.”
“Quella canzone mi ha riportato alla mente dei momenti piacevoli.”
“You must bring the DVD back by the end of the week.”
“Devi riportare il DVD entro la fine della settimana.”
